Inmates have a constitutional right to be on the internet.
I want to disagree with this but I can't. I think that the ACLU's argument about the sites being out of the State and.or the country is a red herring meant to distract attention from the one person clearly within the State's jurisdiction (the prisoner). Still, I think the judge is absolutely correct when he states that
"the law has no legitimate prison management function." That is, as long as the prisoner doesn't advertise for someone to break him out.
